Summary: |
The Northern Pink Feldspar deposit owes its unusual characteristics to the manner in which it formed. Millions of years ago, a mass of magma (molten rock) intruded the country rock and cooled quite slowly thereby allowing very large feldspar crystals to form. When you hold a piece of Northern Pink Feldspar in your hand you are holding a fragment of a crystal originally up to many inches in length. All of this translates into beautiful and highly reflective aggregate with an interesting texture and a rustic orange glow. |
